Privacy Policy

This site gathers only a small amount of visit information, and only to count its own page views and outbound clicks. It has no forms, no accounts, no cookies and no outside analytics, so it never asks you for consent or personal details.

Visit Counting

When you arrive from a search engine, a first-party visit beacon records four items: the path of the page you opened, the type of event, the name of the search engine that referred you, and the text of any outbound button you click. If you arrive another way, such as by typing the address or following a bookmark, this visit information is not collected.

The site uses these records only to count page views and clicks on outbound buttons. They are not used for anything else, and they are not shared with advertising networks, data brokers or outside analytics services. The beacon does not collect names, e-mail addresses, account identifiers or payment details, and it does not build a profile of you as an individual visitor.

Session Flag

To avoid counting the same page view twice, the site keeps one flag in your browser for the current session. It only records that the view has already been counted. It contains no personal data, and it lasts only for that browsing session. The site sets no cookies, no other browser storage and no persistent identifier, so nothing carries over from one visit to the next to recognise you.

Page Delivery

Each page is self-contained. Every file a page needs, including its fonts, comes from this domain. The fonts are embedded locally rather than loaded from a font service. As a result, displaying a page sends no information to any outside host, and no third-party script, image or stylesheet loads in the background.

Hosting

The site is a set of static files served by a content delivery network. Like any web host, that network processes the technical data of every request, such as the request needed to send a page to your browser. It does this as the hosting provider. This processing happens on every visit, separately from the visit counting described above.

Outbound Links

Some pages link to third-party sites. When you follow one of these links, your browser contacts that separate site directly, and that site keeps its own record of the request. This site does not control the privacy practices of any partner site, so check that destination's own policy before you share anything there. On this site, the only record of an outbound click is the button text counted by the visit beacon, and only when you arrived from a search engine.

Things Absent

Several common features are missing from this site, which is why it asks nothing of you:

  • No forms, so there is nowhere on this site to enter personal information.
  • No login, registration or user account.
  • No third-party analytics and no external subresources.
  • No contact channels, so do not send personal data through any channel that claims to represent this site.
